After “minor” technical problems and a delay of 4h, we finally arrived at Kisangani yesterday evening. After collecting our luggage on the airport, we checked in at Les Chalets where we will spend our first 2 days. Today, we first had a meeting with the rector of UNIKIS (university of Kisangani), an important partner of the coffee project. Afterwards we had a logistical meeting with the director of connections in the Yangambi area. We discussed the project and arranged our transport and residence in Yangambi. With this settled, we are ready to go into the rainforest and start our search for coffee.
